Our location, Poiana Ciucaș (Cândești village, Albeștii de Muscel commune, Argeș county), is a secluded mountain haven nestled in the Muscel Subcarpathians, yet surprisingly easy to reach. Below, we have gathered all transport options, step-by-step, so you can plan your arrival completely stress-free.

Flying in from Abroad? Airports & Transfer Options

If you are flying into Romania for the festival, the best entry points are the airports in Bucharest (OTP), Brașov (GHV), and Sibiu (SBZ).

From Henri Coandă International Airport – Bucharest (OTP)

By Rental Car / Carpooling: Take the DNCB/A1 route towards Pitești $\rightarrow$ Câmpulung $\rightarrow$ Cândești. The drive takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
By Train + Shuttle: Take the direct train from the airport to Bucharest North Railway Station (Gara de Nord) (20 min). From there, continue by train or minibus towards Câmpulung Muscel (see Section 3).

From Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport (GHV)

By Rental Car: The route goes through the scenic Rucăr-Bran corridor (DN73) $\rightarrow$ Câmpulung $\rightarrow$ Cândești. It is a stunning mountain route that takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes.
By Public Transport: Take a bus or taxi from the airport to Brașov Bus or Train Station, then catch a direct minibus to Câmpulung Muscel

From Sibiu International Airport (SBZ)

By Rental Car: Follow the Olt Valley route (DN7) towards Râmnicu Vâlcea $\rightarrow$ Curtea de Argeș $\rightarrow$ Câmpulung $\rightarrow$ Cândești. The drive takes approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Arriving by Car (Road Trip & Carpooling)

Driving is one of the most convenient options if you are loaded with camping gear (tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads). The road leading into Poiana Ciucaș is accessible for any standard passenger car—no 4×4 or off-road vehicle required.

From BUCHAREST (~160 km | ~2h 15min)

A1 Highway (Bucharest – Pitești) $\rightarrow$ Exit towards Câmpulung (DN73) $\rightarrow$ Câmpulung Muscel $\rightarrow$ DJ735 towards Albeștii de Muscel / Cândești $\rightarrow$ Poiana Ciucaș.

From BRAȘOV (~90 km | ~1h 30min)

DN73 via Râșnov – Bran – Rucăr $\rightarrow$ Câmpulung Muscel $\rightarrow$ DJ735 towards Cândești $\rightarrow$ Poiana Ciucaș.

From SIBIU (~170 km | ~2h 30min)

DN7 (Olt Valley) $\rightarrow$ Râmnicu Vâlcea $\rightarrow$ DN73C via Curtea de Argeș $\rightarrow$ Câmpulung Muscel $\rightarrow$ Cândești.

Public Transportation (Train & Minibus)

Your main connection hub for public transport is the town of Câmpulung Muscel, located just ~15 km from the festival grounds.

Step 1: How to get to Câmpulung Muscel

From Bucharest (Gara de Nord / Militari Bus Station):
- Minibuses/Coaches: Regular daily routes depart from Militari Bus Station directly to Câmpulung Bus Station.
- Train: Regular train connections run from Bucharest North (Gara de Nord) to Câmpulung (either via Golești transfer or direct private routes).
From Brașov (Transbus Bus Station 2):
- Minibuses on the Brașov – Pitești route stop directly in Câmpulung Muscel and run at frequent intervals throughout the day.
From Sibiu:
- Coaches/minibuses run on the Sibiu – Râmnicu Vâlcea – Curtea de Argeș – Câmpulung route.

Step 2: How to get from Câmpulung Station to the Festival

Once you arrive in Câmpulung Muscel, you are only a few kilometers away from Poiana Ciucaș (Cândești). Here are your options:

Local Minibuses (Câmpulung – Cândești / Albeștii de Muscel):
Local minibuses run from the Câmpulung Train/Bus Station area towards Cândești village. Get off at the end of the line or at the marked Vuiet drop-off point.
Taxi / Ride-Sharing from Câmpulung:
You will find local taxi stands right outside the train and bus stations in Câmpulung. A ride to the festival entrance takes about 15–20 minutes and is very affordable, especially when split with fellow festivalgoers.
Vuiet Carpooling & Shuttle Community:
During the festival week, we encourage ridesharing on our community channels (WhatsApp/Telegram groups and Facebook event). Many drivers coming from Bucharest, Brașov, or Pitești offer spare seats straight to the meadow!
